Blue Cheese Encrusted Chicken Breast
Accented with cherry tomato sauce
Accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and caper medley
Beef Provençal
beef braised in red wine sauce
Served with baby carrots and a zucchini ~ onion medley
Dessert is a Lemon Merengue Parfait
Peach & Feta Salad
Beef Provençal
Blue Cheese Encrusted Chicken Breast
Isn't the sauce supposed to go on the chicken?
I thought only gravy went on potatoes...
Comment: The salad consists of mixed greens (mesclun) tossed with sliced peaches, slivered almonds and grated feta cheese. The dressing is a light Lemon Vinaigrette that - by my tastes at least - is so bad that I've taken to skipping the salad course. The chicken can be pretty good but the breast size varies from full grown chicken to pigeon or even roadrunner with comparable density and dryness. The beef is not exactly "a steak with wine sauce". While appearing to have been regurgitated onto the plate, it actually tastes pretty good. It includes mushrooms and onions.
had that today on AS 139. I had the beef. It was ok. It wasnt that bad. I just mixed the veggies, carrots, beef, gravy, and potatos together and ate it like goulash. I passed on the dessert. I tried the salad, ate the peaches first, then added the dressing and ate it. I wouldnt go out of my way to ever try that dressing again per se
