The T-10 ticket is probably your best bet unless you're making a large amount of journeys (more than six) in one day. The T-10 gives you 10 journeys including the train to and from the airport (but not the Aerobús). Barcelona is a very walkable city and once you're in the centre you probably won't find yourself using the metro that much.
Is the Zone #1 the one most tourists would be travelling within? I notice the T10 can be bought for more than one zone but the price climbs noticeably so if I'm unlikely to venture into the suburbs should I stick with Zone #1?
