scubaccr, it doesn't matter how OP got his points. He could have bought it like I did, or he could have earned it through spending $ in ICs. I know a RA who stays mostly at IC and still earn tons of points.

Back to OT, as an IHG Plat, don't expect any perks from any IC. As IHG Plat I got discounted club access (EUR 40 instead of EUR 80) and late check out in IC in Europe. Nothing from IC SIN.
