Hi LAXLocal.
I am not happy - Aegean has turned down my request for miles crediting for a Thai flight I took in March this year. I did the online request thing, a month or more passed, so I phoned them, nothing happened. So I phoned again they said send an email. I sent an email with Eticket number and photocopies of original booking plus boarding card. They said weeks later, after another follow up from me, that Thai has turned my request down.
Thai won't talk to me about it.
My ticket was booked via a large travel agent (who also have been no help) and is a Turkish Airlines ticket - all legs were Class T - which got me 70% for the Turkish legs within days. Thai should have been 100% or about 5,000 miles, instead I have received none.
I have not contacted Turkish Airlines who seem to be fairly hard to contact. It might be possible that Turkish booked me on a lower Class with Thai to maximise their profits - if this is the case, how can a traveler plan to collect the correct mileage? Any opinions and what should I do now - can I complain to Star Alliance?
