Thanks for all the info , I will not be using the Toughbook every day , I can use the Desktop computer
But I would like it to be faster than it is , and with XP which is on it now,

Its mostly the start up time from when I open the lid and it turns on until I am able to do work or check a file etc , its pretty slow to do that right now !

is there a way to check how many write cycles an SSD has done ?
