Republic has NOT been around for a long time, as far as airlines go--they are in no way related to the Republic of Old, swallowed by NW. The 170/175 is a nice plane and will make a welcome addition to the fleet even the capacity is not significantly greater than the CR7s: biggers seats, 2 lavs with vacuum flush, 2 galleys, no internal stairs, 6.7' ceiling all add to the most noticeable differences. Brand new design versus CRJ derivative design. Been on the DL and UA operated 170/175 on numerous occassions and don't recall seeing power port--glad to see somebody above saw that gem
