ANother hidden term, not disclosed to you before they take your $$, is that you have to stay at 2 different hotels to get any free nights. I emailed tham asking them to cancel my membership and refund the fee, which I assume they will do, but this is bait and switch BS, imposing significant T&Cs after they take your $. THought I'd share.
Donīt understand one word of what you write, makes me really angry.

I am LHW Access Member since long and have got on my stays always free buffet breakfast for two, a welcome gift like a bottle of wine, a fruit basket and sweets, an upgrade if available, sometimes vouchers for a drink at the bar, daily newspaper.

It should be no problem to stay at two different hotels during five stays. As well it is normal to book through their page to get a qualifying stay. All of the known loyality programs have the same rule.

It is, if the region you travel has good coverage of their hotels, and you book during low season times to get good rates, an excellent program with the worldwide best hotels available. I even consider to pay the US 1.000 upgrade for LHW Unlimited Membership, which has some advantages like an upgrade at the moment of booking, 1 comp stay after 4 nights and 3 free nights per one stay by voucher.
