I already posted this in the Southwest Forum HERE, but judging from how that conversation went, it seems my solution may not come via WN.

I'd like to book an off-peak trip to Rome next February for me and my wife using 60k US Airways miles before they become AA miles and the option for 30k/RT flights to Europe disappears. We live in Grand Rapids, MI so we'll need a positioning flight to PHL so we can fly to/from Rome. I'd wanted to use our WN Companion Pass/points to get there, but there aren't any WN flights from GRR-PHL after December. I also looked at flying GRR-BWI on WN and then either adding the BWI-PHL segment onto the beginning of the US Airways itinerary, or taking Amtrak/driving a rental from BWI-PHL. None of those options seemed like they'd work well though, because of WN's schedule.

Any tips or suggestions to get from GRR to PHL on February 7, 2014 (and the reverse on 2/14/14) before a 6:20 PM departure to Rome would be greatly appreciated!
