The other consideration is how far out it is.....

You could be in for some schedule changes....if you change it to something better and pony up more $ and SM it may end up being for naught anyway.

I would leave it the way it is and then if you are the victim of a schedule change use it to your advantage. Usually the agents will give you pretty much anything you want if the schedule changes dramatically.

Trying to play the equipment game is more trouble than it is worth. I went to SYD on VA and booked 777 lie flat for ATL-LAX. Sounds like an awesome trip doesn't it. Guess what? Equipment changes to a 757 with no AVOD and broken footrest. That sucks.

On the way home my flight also scheduled changed.....and I got my lie flat they owed me back!
