That's an important consideration.
We've seen so many changes over the years that it's difficult to forecast where we'll be in 10/20/30 years. I can remember award flights whose cost was in miles with no fees, taxes, charges, surcharges, etc. And as airlines and alliances mature, how and where will we continue to be able to use them?
Now we've got several million airline miles and hotel points between us, I have to remember that tempus fugit and that we'd better think about using them at a higher rate.
