I am totally on page with this. I go to law school across the country, so I believe that they would get the best doing this from SAN-->ATL-->IND. May even take a place of a few flights via SW.

I think the UA card is the best bet for them. Get them out of DSM with AMEX, into a cash revolver for groceries such as the BCP (although most of their groceries are on Costco Business), and also with UA. More bang for your buck.
