I don't believe that any of the Seabourn ships can do a crossing in 9 days!!!
12 or 13 days is the norm

I have been sailing Seabourn -14 cruises-- and have never seen $1200 or $1500 for a 9 day cruise--ever. I have never seen anything close to that. Years ago their prices were considerably higher per day than now.
Seabourn is the top line in the world--IMHO---and expecting substantive discounting is probably unrealistic.
For cruises in that price range, one needs to look at Carnival, RCCL, Celebrity, etc.
