I sorta expected such posts (like the one above from Boogie711) to this thread.
Hi Gate8: You make good products, and even better, you seem to be taking our feedback (well, mine for sure) on your product very positively and making changes. That makes me feel great about working with you - nothing like a receptive company.
The BIG BUT: I've written back to you many times (including my past posts in the forum) that your marketing push seems over zealous. And you can't seem to not do it. The problem is it makes us (your users) look bad too, indirectly.
I think wharvey said it right - you do seem to care, so given that you have asked on how your posts can be improved, my suggestions:
1. If you want people to respond to this thread without feeling they are participating in indirect product promotion, consider deleting everything between "are British designers" and "We value enormously". That's the part that sounds like self promotion.
2. Let your happy users talk about you (like I do, for example) instead
3. When you do respond to comments from your users (or potential users), try not to be grandiose (example: A says: your zip is a problem. You respond: Thank you, we will look into it - but ALL OUR 3000 customers have certified it NOT TO BE A PROBLEM only after a few tries)
I think bottom line, you will do even better if you don't promote yourselves in almost every response you give in forums (directly or indirectly). You make good products, let them speak for themselves!
Best of luck :0)
