I was going to fly thru MDW, but saw the forcast for thunderstorms and decided 1.5 hours later, but I might not get delayed, ATL AirTran to PHL itIis. Cross my fingers as I am now on the SFO ATL leg. Wifi works and the Airtran leg, got a middle seat. Walked up to my GA, asking if she could get me an isle seat, since I'm connecting in ATL. To my surprise, I got the bulkhead isle on a 71,7, zone 1 because of the A preferred. So to me, last two times, WN GAs know how to change seat assignments on a Airtran leg and text notification worked for me.
