I don't think the game developers had anything to do with this issue. Put the blame on the Scrabble dictionary publishers - if in fact there is any real blame. After all, these are words, right?

By the way, OSPD is not used for Scrabble tournaments, because Scrabble players objected to the removal of "objectionable" words (pun intended). Tournaments use OWL.
