As you have to show a boarding pass to access the interterminal train, I suspect you may be stuck at T2. (I suspect they'd not allow you airside at T1 if you took the red shuttle busses landside - not to mention what a hassle.)

I'll be arriving in Mexico City at around 4am and catching a domestic flight at around 9am. Both flights are AeroMexico, so in and out of Terminal 2. But I have Priority access to United's Red Carpet Lounges - in Mexico City it's located in Terminal 1.

Will I be able to head over to Terminal 1 to spend some of those hours in the lounge or am I stuck at Terminal 2?
