I was actually a real holdout late adopter. I still have my two film cameras, the newest one which I bought over twenty years ago. I was using both of them until a couple of months when I (finally) bit the bullet and bought a digital one. I also used to develop my own film, even experimented with Kodachrome jury-rigged development processes, tried it once and after that sent it out for processing as usual. But did continue making prints from slides onto cibachrome for many years. But I digress.
