Removable wheels are nice, when you need to upgrade the wheels or clean. Otherwise their weight is almost negligible.

None of the options are too appealing. GPS would be nice, but most road warriors are not checking a bag, and I am pretty sure GPS is banned.

Most lightweight material is nice, until it fails.

The ability to leave my clothes wrinkle free, cram in just a bit more and good protection and easy access to devices/papers on the front is what I am interested in.
Thanks for your contribution.

1) Agree about the GPS, redundant for carry-on

2) We have worked with a number of factories that are offering the detachable wheels option. I understand and agree the weight is negligible (wheels on or off), however, it does make the product more compact (when off, and very much a lightweight carry-on) - although for me (as a brand + retailer), the feature adds a layer of complexity that could invoke costly warranty issues - these features can only break!

3) Lightweight materials - there are some really clever lightweight + very strong synthetics available now - although the costs are very high!! It is a balance act between achieving quality + cost. We have just migrated over from 1680 denier polyester to 1680 denier nylon. This offers us a higher quality product + slightly lighter weight.

4) Integrated chargers : we would make this an optional extra for the user to carry. Very little additional weight (from samples we have seen) + no more of a fire risk that any other electrical accessory we use every day.

Thanks again for you input, it is greatly appreciated.
