I joined LHW at suggesiton of a hotel I use frequently. LHW's program costs $159 but does give you upgrades and some other benfits, but the primary benefit is 1 free night for every 5 stays. I received my package this week and it says that only those stays booked through LHW will qualify. Obviously this has no value to many business travelers who use corporate travel agents. ANother hidden term, not disclosed to you before they take your $$, is that you have to stay at 2 different hotels to get any free nights. I emailed tham asking them to cancel my membership and refund the fee, which I assume they will do, but this is bait and switch BS, imposing significant T&Cs after they take your $. THought I'd share.
