STL service is hit or miss. You're lucky the SP agent near the entrance door was willing to deal with bag tagging. I'm usually directed to the regular check-in area's baggage drop for tagging when I check in at the SP kiosks.

Delta's policy restricting SP checkin to boarding-pass-only makes no sense given STLs rule of prohibiting airline agents from lifting the bags.

What's the harm of the SP agent tagging bags when pax are required to haul their checked and tagged baggage to the TSA carts.
