Really? There is one here that believes that an un-elected upper chamber is an excellent and if I may say very British way of doing thing. With no pressures of having to be elected, they are not prone to the populist short-term decisions which plague elected politicians.
If it was left to the House of Lords, I am sure that we would have had a solution to the airport capacity problem by now.
