As I ponder whether to keep BA Silver or go for AA Platinum (which would be marginally easier to maintain, plus better redemptions), I was trying to figure out exactly what additional benefits BA Silvers receive over and above non-BA Sapphires.

For example, as a non-EU passport holder, I saw yesterday that the arrivals fast-track is now available to all OW Sapphires rather than just Silver/Gold. Perhaps the departures Fast Track is only for BA elites/Emerald?

Silvers never had arrivals lounge access when in W/Y so there's no difference there.

Seating benefits appear to be the same.

Is BA Silver basically the same as non-BA Sapphire in the "at the airport" benefits now? If this is the case, I may well switch to AAdvantage for my main program and let the BA status lapse, but wanted to know whether there's anything glaring I was missing.
