He found out at 12:30 am when he showed up at the BDL rental counter with his teenage son. I don't think the Costco rate has any specific day-of-the-week requirement. Might have been a 5-day-only rate.

He is not too experienced with travel; had it been a decent hour he'd have called me and I might have had a couple ideas. He may not have put his flight number on the reservation.

Pretty bad customer service, I must say.
