Somedays Ba travel becomes surreal.

Hannover - Heathrow (HAJ - LHR) yesterday.

A well spoken lady ousted from her seat as Hannover systems had issued two tickets for the same seat. Cabin staff were superb and popped her into a business seat.

Plane delayed following some impressive thunderstorms in the UK

1 Extra bag in the hold and no staff to go through it all.

Captain gets out of plane finds a ground staff member - takes him to hold and checks every bag himself, pulls the extra one out and route marches it to the jetway.

Was very impressed - the live to serve motto is really taking hold in BA.

About to start 4th round the world in CW this year so hoping it continues to excel (LHR,IAS,ORD,MIA,SJU,MAZ,DFW,SMF,IAH,IAD,LAX,SYD,C GK,LHR).
