Great Service From Westjet + Website glitch? [regarding flight changes]
Hi Everybody,
I had a YEG-YYJ itinerary booked for 6 people, flex fare. Booking was done online without a westjet ID. So when I needed to change the flights by one day, I had to call westjet.
The Israeli number didn't work (it connected me to some kitchens company instead), so I had to call the US/Canada number and pay for the international call. Waited for around 10 minutes and got a super friendly agent. He looks at out itinerary and finds out we are from Israel - and start talking Hebrew with me. Apparently he is Jewish that lived in Israel as a child for several years. He made the change and waived the change fee (52.5$ per person).
An hour later, I received the changed itinerary by email, was able to log in to Virtually There using the link in the email, and print our new e-tickets. I can also access the old ones via that site, but "Ticket exchanged" is written on them with large, bold, red colored letters.
However, when logging in to the "Get Itinerary" section in westjet.com, it shows my old itinerary, although Virtually There is correct. Is it problematic? Should I call them to make sure everything is OK?
Thanks in advance.
