Yes. I had a similar situation last month with a 48 hour stopover in London. System updated me to silver overnight on the second night in time for my flight back to DXB, bit I didn't print out my boarding pass when I checked in as it would still have said bronze on it but 9 days should be plenty of time.

Your boarding pass should have silver on it so no need for card.
