The FAs are supposed to check all safety equipment. The ground guys are responsible for boarding the tapes. Unfortunately, you and the other passengers were let down on two fronts. That 200 tape should never have made it onto a 300.

The FAs will be talked to for their error. The person in charge of ground staff will also be contacted to let them know of their error as well. No one will be terminated, unless they are on a couple of warnings. Being reminded of safety rules is needed. That's why FAs are on board.

Great information thanks! I have to laugh a little cause I was in seat 1C and I didn't realize the -300 used VCRs for everything on the overhead IFE.
