You might. Plat has access to AA and US lounges, and US lounges don't require a boarding pass to get in. It depends on whether the combined program opts for the US rule or the AA rule, but I'd say it's a 50/50 shot. I've heard nothing on the matter, unfortunately.
I'm wondering what will happen at places like DCA where US and AA both operate lounges, sometimes right next door to one another!
