The other day, I sent FB a retro-claim for a stay at hotel X Group and was denied miles with an inconsistent message (“hotel Y Group not being a FB partner”), Y obviously not being the same as X.
The nice FB agent in the CRC in AMS acknowledged about the inconsistency and suggested to make a new online retro claim. So did I, by fax this time.
No news of my retro claim since some weeks until FB left a message on my voicemail, apologizing for the delay in answering, offering me 3000 miles as a commercial gesture (I asked nothing), wishing me a good flight to ZZZ tomorrow… and suggesting to make a new retro claim online because they cannot transfer the initial one to the right partner
That is very nice from them ^ and I wanted to share it.
Now I can send them a new fax for a retro claim about a rental car that did not credit despite having being booked on the mini website they did build with the partner in question, and wait for the answer to come
