The official answer is no, if you were not a HHonors member at the time of the stay, you are not eligible for points. That said, you may find a sympathetic ear when you call; maybe they will give you points and stay credit. If you don't ask, you'll never know. The worst they can do is say "no."
THanks for your feedback. I did send a message to HHOnors support for an official confirmation. I don't see why they can't do it if Hyatt is able to do it (they even publicize it on their Gold Pass members control panel).
