I just got off of AA 242 (ORD-DUS) in J. There were two new things in the nut mix: some saccharine sweet sugary pecans and some yellowish cubes of crystalized sugar. I asked the flight attendant if this was new and she said she was as surprised as I was and she registered my distaste for the change.

I'm sure some people will like the change, but I like my nuts salty not sweet. For me, if this is a permanent change, it is worse than soy-nut-gate of a few years ago.

I took some photos of the offending objects and will try to post them later.

Has anyone else seen these? Here's hoping it was a one-time aberration!
