hmm i booked an award ticket for December and paid the taxes via my platnium. I have the premium luggage loss insurance on my card that is automatically charged ( i beleive its $5 per ticket). Are you saying that amex wouldn't cover my luggage if it was lost/delayed cause its an award flight ? i already paid for the premium on the insurance...should i call them to verify this? that was the only reason i paid the taxes with my platnium...i could have charged it to the sapphire and got 2x....
