BA goes where I want, broadly when I want, VERY safely and at a good price thanks to BAEC/Avios. And the FFP works for me. YMMV.

I can take loads of luggage, get a comfy flat-bed, edible food and drinkable wine [if at the correct temperature]. GC Lounges are better than sitting in a public terminal. Most CC are fine.


It's just a shame they feel obliged to spout such utter over-egged tosh with their marketing.
