Checked in for one night last weekend and was upgraded to high View King with a sofabed. Hyatt runs "NYC15" promotion for NYC hotels (exc Andaz 5th Ave) for 1500 extra points until Aug31. The front desk were not aware of the promotion and unable to verify the code on the reservation, however, they were otherwise very friendly and efficient. The two elevators, although not as fast as one would like them to be (especially with the door closing after a rather long pause even when pressing "Door Close" button) seem to do the job. Would definitely come back depending on the price offered. Unfortunately, rates sometimes are on par with Grand Hyatt or even Andaz, and you definitely get less here as a Diamond than in any other property.
