Just because certain or all codeshares of one airline partner might be eligible for mileage doesn't mean the same for other airlines just as different classes are eligible for mileage accrual depending upon the airline. For example, compare the following terms for mileage accrual from aa.com:
Miles are also earned on Cathay Pacific codeshare flights operated by oneworld carriers and oneworld affiliates.
Miles are also earned on Qantas Airways codeshare flights.
Miles are also earned on Japan Airlines codeshare flights operated by other carriers, including oneworld carriers and oneworld affiliates.
