I have a similar predicament. Trip booked to DBV for the end of August which I won't be taking; it's non-changeable, non-refundable.

I could cancel it straight away and at least get the taxes back. However I'll be keeping it until just before departure ih the hope that BA changes the schedule or cancels the flight.

I once had a BKK-CCU trip that I ended up not taking and got a full refund because the airline cancelled the flight the day before
