0.4 miles is about 640m though....2.5 times my (admittedly) rough by eye calcs from google maps show.... it really is not that far. I can't argue with your threat perception cos that is personal... not that i really want to argue anyway.... you must have had a fair bit to drink if that walk took you 8-10 minutes
