When I first started going back and forth to LHR, I chose American Airlines. They had the same prices as BA, but I chose them. No idea why, it was an eeny-meeny-miney-moe thing. I flew with them for roughly a year (4 trips) and then one day I had a flight canceled due to a snow storm and was rebooked on a BA flight.

The first thing I noticed was the seats in economy (WT) seemed ever so slightly larger. We all had personal viewing screens on the back of the seat in front of us, and the staff was NICE. Really nice.

Since then, I've made a point to choose BA for all my trips. And they always have the video screens, and the seats are always a tad better.

I joined the Executive Club a bit more than a year ago, and I've already moved up to Bronze. I just enjoyed my first time choosing my seat a week ahead. Got my handy little luggage tags.

I also loved the time I was flying to London with my mother and my 9 year old daughter, we got to check in a bit in the last minute. They'd over booked WT, which is where our seats were. Want to know what they did??? Upgraded ALL THREE of us to CW. And let me tell you, that was truly special.

Since then I have often upgraded to WTP, and I find I enjoy the seat space for the money. I do sleep better (I normally go red eye). So I like how BA has this in-between class I can sometimes afford.

I like all the food, but then I'm not very fussy! I used to hate the hard mystery meat and cheese sandwiches with Dijonnaise (ewwww) but last time they served me a lovely chicken salad sandwich on whole grain bread which was delicious!

I like BA for the price and what I get for my money!
