Ouch! There are a few airlines like UA, LX and TK where aeroplan does not impose fuel surcharges (for now?) you will need to find a route using those carriers.

I burned all my aeroplan miles when they gutted their award chart (two summers ago, iirc). I credit all flights I take on star alliance carriers to ua mileage plus. I avoid AC whenever possible and use WS for domestic flights as they credit 100% to AA (redeemable miles only)
