Hoping this is the best place to post for recommendation on an LGA or JFK-area hotel.

Currently, booked at Fairfield JFK for a 4 night stay. Usually, when I'm in the NYC area, I fly into EWR, and have stayed in the past at the CY Jersey City, which is both convenient to Manhattan, but also fairly cost-effective compared to staying in the City. But have to be around Queen's this time - I think given my priorities, a LGA or JFK-area property is my best bet.

I would say my priorities are being able to be within about a 20 - 30 minute drive of Jamaica/Queen's Village, as well as relative ease of access into NYC with transit (i.e. Subway or LIRR). Obviously, a decent neighborhood would be good too. I'll have a rented car for getting around Queen's, so need parking at the hotel - don't mind paying for it. In terms of transport to NYC, if there is a hotel that has a shuttle that gets me to a train/subway station, would be great, though also perfectly if there's a NYC bus nearby the hotel that can take me to the station. Probably would go into the city ~ three times over the stay.

Like I said, currently, booked at the Fairfield JFK - I understand that to get into NYC, I'd be looking at a shuttle (every 30 mins) that goes to the Federal Circle Airtrain station, then get on AirTrain to Jamaica, where i can get the subway and/or LIRR to NYC.

Is there anyone who has stayed at any of the airport-area hotels that might offer a different reco for me? Any advice would be appreciated.
