This is an absolute joke, I'm sorry you had to go through that. This change obviously hasn't been implement well at all - given that its been 5 months and almost no one at QF knows about this.
I've also had troubles arguing with check-in agents about the new OWE limits. Half the time the response is "I'll let you get away with it this time;" the other half required a bit of convincing, but requesting the supervisor yielded results - and this is with me brining a print out AND a tear-out of the new check-in allowances from the Australian Way magazine.
