You'll get direct flights to GLA from Canadian Affair, operated either by Air Transat or TCX. Certainly not going to be more enjoyable than AC, but likely cheaper, and avoids transiting somewhere else.
I have read many complaints about Canadian Affair--schedule changes, cancellations and the like. I recommend sticking with a standard airline.
