Sorry to swoop in CIHY however this team will be involved in many things other than A380 Welcome Team duties such as management of grounded crew and support of road shows in the CRC customer centre.
The role was created as there is a dip in our satisfaction scores around the welcome onboard. The team are not here to replace crew but simply to create a warmer welcome with more pairs of hands to get our customers settled and happy.
They are all seconded from crew so are not ground staff. They will be wearing a revised uniform.
They are not there to stow bags.

So are they not involved in problem sorting the A380 departure process?
I don't expect this secondment to last more then 6 months, is that correct?
