I too would love a comparison with the White Barn. The latter is definitely a must for dinner when in Kennebunkport, but from this description, I'm not sure the lodging is of the same caliber.
Having never stayed at the White Barn we can't say but it appears you get a lot more bang for your dollar (room wise) at the Hidden Pond. Plus the adults only pool is nice
