This is the worst situation I can imagine. Once transferred, UR cannot go back. OP should push and complain a lot to Korean air and make them tell Chase and revert the points. KE may not do anything for you, though.

If KE tells you that you can use those 25k points later anytime within next 10 years, ask them 45k more (ex> 70k for US-Asia economy roundtrip) so that you can actually use the points.
