All of that ^ makes complete sense to me...and it did when I looked at the seating chart on KLM.com....but there seems to be quite a few posts with people asking about that seat because SeatGuru has it "greened" saying that it has extra legroom due to the curvature of the fuselage. Yet, I can't find any answers to their questions...
From seat guru: Due to the curvature of the fuselage, seat 40 A is at an angle and therefore has extra legroom, especially at the window seat.

Even after searching the Internet for almost an hour I cannot find any definitive answer from anyone who has actually sat in the seat--lots of questions about the validity of SeatGuru, though...

Since there were so many questions related to row 40 but no answers I posted a very specific thread title so that future users can easily find the answers in future searches rather than comb through pages and pages of threads without being able to find their answer.
