How do you know how many people are booked? Are you basing that on the seat map? If so that is not an accurate representation of how many seats have actually been sold on a flight. Also how full are the earlier flights that day? Could BA be rolling or providing an incentive to persons to take the later flight if the earlier flights are overbooked?
