777-200ER Seat 40A or Pay for Economy Comfort?
Seat Guru has it listed that seat 40A has extra legroom due to the curvature of the fuselage. However, I have searched online and on this forum for any personal experience and I cannot find any!

I get EC 50% off due to my Delta Gold Medallion Status. If getting off the plane earlier is the only real benefit to paying for EC then I'll keep my $100.

I already have a confirmed 40A on both inbound and outbound AMS-JNB...I've never flown KLM.
