I came back to a warm room with 2 fans. Promptly called the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do at midnight and I said what appended between 11am and now...
I will never stay there again; just lucky the bed bugs didn't get me. 8-10 minute walk from the Kilburn Park station. I wouldn't let Ms. GDaoV walk to/from the tube after sunset.
I'm surprised. We stayed there in April, no problems at all. No upgrade, but a room with two queen beds was clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful on reducing my room rate for one night (booked 3 nights at once and later discovered one of those nights was cheaper when booked separately), arranging a bus tour and storing luggage the last day. No evidence of bed bugs. Never felt unsafe walking to/from the tube station, although we were always together. Lounge was decent if not spectacular, hot breakfast each day and reasonable appetizers at night, enough to make a meal of. Not as convenient to central London but cheaper than anything else that close (I think Regents Park was about the same price), and I haven't been to St. Ermins, but I would stay there again.
