Haven now taken the domestic trip, I can say that security was much more relaxed on both legs than on an international flight. Sort of the same way a lot of "domestic" European flights (read: within Schengen) I've been on have been handled.

I ended up checking my bag as it ended up a bit heavy for my liking, so the liquids never were an issue. I forgot to ask about the policy; my impression was that chances are pretty good of getting liquids through, but I'm afraid I can't give any guarantees to whoever else might be curious.
